The International Hockey Federation (FIH) and the global hockey family will join the IOC's “Let's Move and Celebrate” campaign to celebrate Olympic Day 2024. This year's Olympic Day encourages people to get active and celebrate the Olympic spirit through movement. FIH encourages hockey fans and players around the world to get involved and share their own creative moves on social media using the hashtag #LetsMove and tagging @olympics.
“Let's Move and Celebrate” encourages everyone to get involved in movement, regardless of age or fitness level, fostering a sense of community and connection. By taking part, participants have the opportunity to watch their favorite Olympians mimic their moves, further highlighting the inclusive and unifying power of sport.

With a focus on inclusivity and participation, the campaign reminds us that physical activity is for everyone, regardless of age, ability or fitness level.”

This year is no exception, especially since 2024 is an Olympic year and there is only one month until the next Olympic Games! I can therefore only once again appeal to the hockey community around the world to take part in sports activities in their own communities. The IOC's “Let's Move and Celebrate” campaign aims to encourage everyone to experience the joy of movement and improve their physical and mental health in the run up to Paris 2024, which is particularly important for young people. Let's all get moving and celebrate Olympic Day on 23 June!”
