Harrisonburg, Virginia – Six freshmen will be joining the James Madison field hockey program this fall, the head coach announced. Christy Morgan Wednesday morning.
“It's such a fun group,” Morgan said. “They've all worked so hard to get to a great level, and now it's their time to shine! I'm excited for them to contribute to the success of this program and really excited for myself and my great staff to coach them. They're great players and exceptional people! They'll add even more to an already great JMU field hockey culture. We now have a conference to play in and are on a mission together!”

The Dukes are in their first season as an associate member of the Mid-American Conference, and JMU will open the 2024 season on Friday, Aug. 30, when it hosts Villanova University.
