SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Following the successful conclusion of the group phase in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the brackets and schedule for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament 2024 Puerto Rico semifinals have been finalized.

All semi-finals will take place on Saturday, July 6th at the Puerto Rico Coliseum José Miguel Agrelot “El Chorri”.

Italy started the season by setting a new Olympic qualifying record with a 61-point victory over Bahrain but lost to Puerto Rico on Thursday and finished in the same group as Lithuania, which won both of its Group A matches. Only one of Europe's top teams will have a chance to play on Sunday for a ticket to Paris.
Puerto Rico went undefeated through Group B to avoid a semifinal against Lithuania with 12,519 fans rooting for Italy for the top seed in the standings. The hosts will look to use home-court advantage in a continental showdown with Mexico, which clinched the final spot in the knockout stages with a decisive win over Ivory Coast on Thursday.
