The Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire is a great place to find players each week who can help your fantasy hockey team win, whether short-term or long-term, especially in the final weeks of the fantasy season. You've probably already gotten the most out of fantasy hockey this year. Every week, there are strong options on the forward waiver wire that we'll take a look at. Even if it's just for a few games, it's worth adding these players to help the team. This is where you can find great options that are available to you before others.
Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire: Forwards to consider in Week 26
William Eklund, San Jose Sharks
The San Jose Sharks continue to be led by their top line, but William Eklund's recent stellar play has seen him move up the standings and continue his momentum. The 21-year-old is skating alongside Mikael Granlund and Fabian Zetterlund, the Sharks' best offensive players this season. These days, Eklund is getting into that conversation, too.
As for this week's opponent, the Sharks have a solid matchup for the top line to at least keep scoring. The team will face the Calgary Flames, Seattle Kraken, and Minnesota Wild, none of which are playoff teams or competing for a playoff spot. Eklund is up to 15 goals and 40 points in his rookie season and has five goals and 10 points in the last nine games, scoring in seven of those games and scoring a hat trick last week. Five of those points came on the power play, with other contributions gradually increasing along the way.
Brayden Schenn, St. Louis Blues
Brayden Schenn has been a key part of the St. Louis Blues' offense in recent weeks as they strive to make the playoffs. Although the team is almost eliminated without enough games to establish themselves at the moment, that doesn't mean Schenn, who recently moved to the top line, will stop competing.
Schenn not only performs well at 5-on-5 with Robert Thomas at center, but he also adds power-play points, further increasing his value. Schenn shoots, hits and blocks shots, and has four goals and five points in his past four games. The Blues also have three games this week against the lowly Chicago Blackhawks, Carolina Hurricanes, and Kraken. In his two of these three games, Schenn should score points and add as much fantasy value as he has in the past.
Juraj Slavkovskiy, Montreal Canadiens
July Slavkowski is having a great breakout season and has been one of the bright spots for the Montreal Canadiens this season. Since his move to the top line, he won't be leaving anytime soon, but he's been playing very well and is rapidly starting to reach his potential.
After struggling to make progress for several weeks in late February and early March, Slavkowski has done little more than rack up points in his past 15 games. During this period, he had not yet turned 20, and in 15 games he scored 3 goals and 14 points. The great thing about Slavkovskiy is that he takes a lot of hits in different categories, adds penalty time, blocks a lot of forwards, takes a good amount of shots and also contributes on the power play. Goals will come from Montreal this week as the Canadiens play the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Islanders and Ottawa Senators.

Players who appear to have good waiver wire pickups may also fade quickly, while others may turn out to be good for long periods of time. These three players appear to be strong options among the available players for Week 26 of the Fantasy Hockey season. Take advantage of it before it's too late and be sure to check back next week for more powerful options.
