definitely, Crawford is a match for Alvarez in terms of boxing technique, but the weight difference is a concern. Crawford's last fight was against Spence Jr. at 147 pounds, while Alvarez has been fighting at 168 pounds since 2018. Additionally, “Canelito” has no plans to cut weight, which would put the onus on Crawford to move up from 154 to 168 pounds. However, Hearn believes that would be a disadvantage for Crawford, as Canelo would dominate Crawford at the 168-pound division and have the size advantage.
