Emmanuel Navarreta (38-1-1, 31 KOs) and Dennis Belinczyk (18-0, 9 KOs) will fight for the vacant WBO lightweight title on Saturday at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, USA.
Navarreta, 29, won the WBO junior featherweight title in 2018 by defeating Isaac Dogboe and has since successfully defended it five times, winning the vacant title with a 12 round points win over Ruben Villa in October 2020. Won the WBO featherweight title.
He successfully defended his title three times, moving up a weight class to win the vacant WBO junior lightweight title after knocking down Liam Wilson and winning after a nine-round stoppage last February.
He won against Oscar Valdez in August of the same year, but his most recent fight was a draw against Robson Conceição in Las Vegas in November of last year.
Belinchyk, a 36-year-old from Ukraine, won the European title in December 2022 with a 12-round unanimous points decision over Ivan Mendy.
His most recent fight last August was a points victory over Anthony Yigit in Poland.
Navarreta is overcoming a weight decision and should win on points.
Giovani Santillan (32-0, 17 KOs) takes on Brian Norman Jr. (25-0, 19 KOs) on the undercard of a 12-round welterweight contest.
Santillan is looking to win the WBO NABO title with a six-round victory over Alexis Rocha.
Santillan is the favorite to win on points.
