4th grade class A girls
San Elizario I was never left behind or defeated. midland greenwood3-1, won the coin toss at San Elizario High School and earned a home match.
Alexandra Hernandez, Leah Salido and Davet Trejo scored for the Eagles.
The Eagles, who led 2-1 at the half, will advance to their fourth straight Region I-4A semifinal under coach Miguel Mendez on Friday in Justin.
“We have to bounce back for the round. We told ourselves we can't afford to lose this game at home,” Trejo said. “This has been a great season. We've been very close as a team.”
Angela Chaires, who has been a key contributor throughout the season, added, “We worked hard. We had never played a district quarterfinal game at home, so it was stressful.''
4th grade group A boys
riverside join San Elizario Justin defeated Bowie 1-0 on Tuesday at Eastwood High School.
5th grade group A boys
Burgess lost amarillo cap lockWin 2-1 at Midland and earn a trip to Wichita Falls in the Region I-5A Tournament.

6th grade group A boys
- east lake lost Odessa Permian, 3-0 at Odessa. Brian Salas, Michael Ayala and Gabriel Aguirre scored the first-half goals for the Falcons, who will advance to the Region I-6A Tournament for the fourth straight year.
- Pebble Hills lost montwood, won 1-0 and will advance to the regional tournament along with Eastlake. The Spartans will be playing in the regional tournament for the first time in school history.
