– The East Sac County Raider girls soccer team won 10-0 at home against Riverside. East Sac got off to a quick start with a goal from Cora Marler four minutes into the game with assists from Chloe Vielette and Kenna Meyer. Six minutes later, Chloe Biele added another goal, and four minutes later a cross from Sarah Bontrager was deflected. Kenna Meyer scored her first goal of the game on a penalty kick with 1:55 left in the first half. East Sac led 4-0 at the end of the first half. The Raiders quickly extended their lead with goals from Hannah Pudenz, Kenna Meyer and Chloe Bielette within the first six minutes of the second half. Kenna Meyer continued her hitting streak with the next two goals, and Addisen Ehler scored with 7:01 left to end the game. The Raiders are currently 2-1 and will face West Central Valley on Tuesday night. The scorers in the first half were Isaiah Aragon without an assist and Sam Schmidt with an assist from Carson Schmidt. In the second half, the Raiders added two more points. The scorer in the second half was Riley Aragon, with an assist from Isaiah Aragon, who scored the winning goal unassisted. Luke Warnimont made six saves in goal. With this win, the Raiders improve to 2-1 and will next face 1A #13 West Central Valley on Tuesday night.
