Solid Loadan AI-powered platform for recruiting, onboarding, and training, has raised $1.2 million in funding. The funding round was led by Dan Kiely (co-founder of Voxpro), Jack Pierce (co-founder of Wayflyer), Ciaran Lee (co-founder of Intercom), CPL's Anne Heraty, and former PayPal executive Louise Phelan. Their combined expertise and support highlights the transformative potential of Solidroad's technology.
Solidroad was founded by Mark Hughes and Patrick Finlay, who met while working at Intercom. Mark, who previously founded and sold mentorship and training platform Gradguide, recognized the challenges of scaling personalized training and assessment. Inspired by the transformative power of AI, he partnered with Patrick, who showcased AI's prowess in a language learning app he built. Their vision is to use cutting-edge AI technology to deliver personalized assessment and training for large enterprises.
“Solidroad is now like a 'flight simulator' for customer-facing teams,” explains Mark Hughes, co-founder and CEO of Solidroad. “Our software allows CX agents to practice realistic conversations with AI prospects and customers and receive personalized performance feedback from an AI coach. This approach dramatically improves skills, speeds up ramp-up time, and increases the effectiveness of training.”
Solidroad's platform has attracted the attention of industry leaders, with design partner customers such as ActiveCampaign, Ryanair and Three Mobile experiencing the benefits of personalized, scalable training. The software's ability to simulate real-world customer interactions and deliver personalized training at scale is particularly advantageous for businesses with high-volume customer engagement and ongoing staff training needs.
“We're excited to use this investment to reach more companies with our vision and help improve the training process and ultimately customer experience outcomes,” said Patrick Finlay, co-founder and CTO of Solidroad. “This funding is a testament to the hard work of our team and the confidence our investors have in our potential.”
The newly secured funding will be used to expand Solidroad's team, accelerate product development and enhance its AI capabilities. With a focus on providing recruiting, onboarding and training solutions, Solidroad is poised to lead innovation in enterprise training.
