2024 Australian Olympic Qualifiers
World record holders emerge on day four of Australian 2024 Olympic Swimming Trials Kayleigh McKeon 200 Backstroke and Superstar Kyle Chalmers As a highlight of the men's 100m freestyle.
Five Olympic sports and four Paralympic sports are scheduled for the day.

McKeown is expected to compete primarily for time in the 200 backstroke, but Chalmers is hoping to bring some younger teammates to Paris, including second-seeded Flynn Southam. They are the only two Australians seeded under 48 seconds in that race and will need to find more company (Max Giuliani or Kai Taylor, perhaps?) if they want to make a run at the Olympics.
Cam McEvoy He won the 50m freestyle on Wednesday, qualifying for his fourth Olympic Games and retaining his seeding.

World Record Holders Kayleigh McKeon He took the lead in the 200m backstroke preliminaries with a time of 2:08.83. Hannah Fredericks McKeon, 22, holds the world record from last year's 2:03.14, while Fredericks, 21, ran the fastest time of 2:08.92 in April.
Iona Anderson The 18-year-old shaved nearly a second off her previous personal best of 2:11.40 to finish as the third seed with a time of 2:10.54. She won silver in both the 50 backstroke (27.45) and 100 backstroke (59.12) at the 2024 World Championships in February.
8 months after giving birth, 31 years old Emily Seebohm She will enter tonight's 200 backstroke final in fourth place with a time of 2:11.00. The four-time Olympian boasts a personal best of 2:05.68, which she set at the 2017 World Championships.
At 17 years old, she was the youngest swimmer in tonight's final. Jacqueline Berkley She placed fifth in the heats in 2:11.05 and is a potential Olympic contender, and won silver at the 2024 World Championships in February in a personal best of 2:07.03.
