Conor McGregor may have been bitten by the acting bug.

“It was only supposed to be five weeks, but when I arrived on set and I was looking at what they were seeing, the character's legs and arms started growing, and then it grew and the role grew.” McGregor said last week. McGregor, 35, told MMA Fighting that his long-discussed but often postponed return fight against Michael Chandler is finally scheduled to take place in the summer, compared to the previously declared June date. He did not say whether the 29th remains the official target for the match. He said he would allow the UFC to announce instead. McGregor said he hopes his return will be the first of a possible two fights in 2024, although details such as rounds and weight classes have not yet been decided.
