College football is experiencing a whirlwind of inter-conference transfers the likes of which college football fans have never seen before. All this movement will likely lead to the demise of the Pac-12, at least as a “power” conference. The Pac-4, as it is now cynically called, still has four teams. Will they try to rebuild with San Diego State, Boise State and others? Will they become an independent league? Or will they cave in and jump ship to a conference that will accept them (the Mountain West?)?
While the chaos isn't completely over yet, we've prepared a list of upcoming conferences for those of you keeping track at home. Below is the complete list of what each conference will look like through 2024.
