EA Sports has officially announced the best overall teams available in College Football 25 .
In the latest announcement regarding the long-awaited return of the college football video game, EA Sports has revealed the top 25 teams overall. The overall rating number represents the overall quality of a team, determined using both offensive and defensive parameters.
The highest rated team in College Football 25 is the University of Georgia (UGA), with an overall team rating of 95. UGA's overall team rating is not at all surprising to some, as we learned yesterday that UGA was ranked #1 in Offense and #2 in Defense in College Football 25. Additionally, we learned earlier this week that UGA's Sanford Stadium was ranked #5 in College Football 25's Top 25 Hardest Places to Play.
In addition to UGA, seven other teams have a team overall rating of 90 or higher, including Ohio State (93 overall rating), Texas (92 overall rating) and LSU (90 overall rating). You can see the complete list below.
College Football 25 is the first college football game franchise game since NCAA Football 14 in 2013. Most notably, College Football 25 is the first to feature actual student-athletes, with all 134 FBS schools confirmed to appear in the game in some form, including stadium traditions and mascots. Additionally, college bowl games, awards such as the Heisman Trophy, and name, image and likeness (NIL) deals are also featured in College Football 25.
College Football 25 will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on July 19th. For more information, check out our hands-on preview, which explains why the game isn't just another Madden NFL football game clone.
