Kenny Brooks continues his winning streak on the recruiting trail and is only a few weeks into his tenure as head coach.
Sunday afternoon, Clara Silva, a 6-foot-6 Class of 2024 freshman from Maynedo, Portugal, has announced her transfer from Virginia Tech to Kentucky women's basketball..Silva is the second former Virginia Tech forward to commit to the Wildcats, joining the four-star wing. lexi bluewhich he also joined earlier this month.

Silva played seven games for her native Portugal at last summer's FIBA U18 Women's European Championship. She averaged 18.1 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks in 33.1 minutes, and shot 44.9 percent overall. Silva currently plays for Unicaja Baloncesto in Malaga, Spain.
