Jennifer Musino grew up in Mexico and dreamed of competing in the Olympics one day.
She didn't care how she got there, but she desperately wanted to have the title of Olympian.
She eventually found her way through bow and arrow and the countless practices that followed when her mother took her to a dirt field archery range.
Today, 21-year-old Archer has already realized his dream.
She competed in archery for the United States at the Tokyo Olympics, but after finishing 17th, she is looking for more challenges.
Musino, who was born in Boston and has dual citizenship in Mexico and the United States, had the opportunity to practice with both national teams, but chose the red, white and blue.
She says it wasn't a difficult decision.
“I wanted to live in America, study here and spend my life here,” Mucino said.
Mucino trains at the Easton Archery Center of Excellence at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center. This facility is one of the world's premier facilities for her sport.
The young woman, who grew up near Mexico City, is looking forward to further success in Paris, with the combination of a state-of-the-art training facility and three more years of international matches.
Mucino, currently one of Team USA's top-ranked archers, has one Olympic qualifier left before the United States selects him for the Paris team.
