Jaylen Brown's ring was retrieved.
The Boston Celtics star posted a photo of the ring to X and thanked the fan who spotted it.
On June 22, Brown asked for help finding the ring he lost during Boston's NBA championship parade, promising a “significant reward” to anyone who found it.
The reward appeared to be a pair of tickets to the Celtics' ring ceremony, and Brown, 27, wrote to the two fans who found them, “See you courtside.” Brown also posted a video to his Instagram Story of meeting fans and giving them autographed basketballs and jerseys.
The ring has the name of the forward's personal sportswear brand, “7UICE,” printed on it.
Brown was focused during the Celtics' five-game win over the Dallas Mavericks, a game that earned him the honor of being named the 2024 Finals MVP as Boston clinched its 18th championship.
After the Celtics signed Brown to a five-year, $304 million supermax contract in July 2023, the largest contract in NBA history at the time, questions arose about Brown.
He earned his third career All-Star appearance in the 2023-24 season while shooting a career-best 49.9% from the field. Brown also appeared in the playoffs, appearing in 19 games and averaging 23.9 points and 5.9 rebounds while shooting 51.6/32.7/66.0 from the field.
The 2016 No. 3 overall pick also made one of Boston's most important shots of the playoffs, a contested mid-range jump shot in Game 3 that thwarted a Mavericks comeback and gave the Celtics a commanding 3-0 series lead.
With his lost ring back, Brown can continue to enjoy his post-title offseason, while the two fans who found it will have front-row seats to the ring ceremony.
