[Tech CU Arena is] It's a pretty amazing facility. Like you said, it wasn't here when I was here. There's been a lot of changes, like Calders and the different rinks that are here at this location. It's really cool to see how this place has grown. It's a great facility, pretty impressive.
Celebrini talks about the atmosphere at the prospect training camp:
It's great. There's a lot of excitement here. Our group, the group that we have in the locker room, a lot of young guys and we're all growing together here. It's a very exciting time and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
Celebrini had this to say about his work in San Jose so far:
It was awesome meeting all the staff. The draft was super hectic and I met a lot of people, but I've forgotten most of them. So it's really cool to actually come out here and match names with faces and really build relationships. Build relationships with the fans as well. I'm excited. It's going to be pretty cool.
When asked if the experience was overwhelming, Celebrini said:
You have to keep everything in perspective. This is why we play, we love the game. We're just trying to do the best we can. It's what we've always dreamed of since we were little kids, to get to this level and play in the NHL one day. So I think all of us, me and the whole team, are just trying to have fun. All of us are just having fun.
Celebrini talks about Will Smith's abilities:
I knew that the last few years. I played against him and I got to chase him around. Every time he played against us, he always got us pumped. I've known that for a long time, playing against him in every league, watching him, and I can see him doing the same thing out there. He's a special player and a special person.
Celebrini is happy that she no longer has to star opposite Will Smith. [how good he is] The last few years I played against him, I had to chase him around… he always got us pumped… it's going to be a lot of fun to play with him now.”
