CHARLOTTE — Bryce Young and his 9 Young Foundation are hosting their first-ever free youth football camp in Charlotte.
The participation rate from campers to counselors was also pretty impressive.

Registration was limited to 300 people, but slots filled up quickly, organizers said.
Meanwhile, more than a dozen Panthers teammates came to help out at the event, which was held at Johnson C. Smith University.
Those players included Adam Thielen, Taylor Moton, Austin Corbett, new offensive coordinator Brad Idzik and team owner Nicole Tepper.
Young told Channel 9 he wanted to give back to those who supported him during his hectic rookie season.
“I felt blessed and accepted and had a lot of people interacting with me and watching out for me, but for me, being able to come out here and interact and actually be with the kids and the community and have that interaction is something I've been looking forward to for a really long time,” Young explained.
Campers trained and competed for the title of fastest camper.
Young said he plans to return to work next week for the final week of organized team activities.
