harrisonburg, virginia – James Madison wide receiver, right after the 2024 NFL Draft. Reggie Brown and defensive lineman jamri chroma Brown signed with the Kansas City Chiefs and Croma signed with the Chicago Bears, agreeing to terms as undrafted free agents.
Brown was a 1,000-yard receiver for the Dukes last season, was named an All-American by the College Football Network and was a first-team All-Sun Belt Conference wide receiver. He had 53 receptions for 1,054 receiving yards and a team-leading nine receiving touchdowns.
He set a JMU single-game record with 202 receiving yards against UConn and finished the season with four 100-yard games. He gained 19.89 yards per catch, which ranked him ninth nationally and second in the SBC. He had 93 receptions for 1,686 yards and 16 touchdowns in 45 career games.
Chroma, who was selected for the 99th East-West Shrine Bowl, was a five-member HERO Sports Group defensive lineman on the All-American First Team and All-Sun Belt First Team. He started 13 games last season and recorded 60 tackles, including 20.5 tackles for loss, 11.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Chroma, who played both inside and on the edge, ranked tied for second in the FCS with a Sun Belt-leading 20.5 TFL. His 11.0 sacks ranked eighth nationally and third in the conference. Croma recorded career highs with 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks at Georgia State, and also had 3.0 tackles for loss and two sacks at Virginia State. Cromer recorded at least 1.5 TFL in seven games and had at least a full sack in the same number of games.
