The Los Angeles Lakers and Bronny James have agreed to a four-year, $7.9 million contract. According to The Athletic and Stadium's Shams Charania, the rookie contract includes a team option for the final year.
The deal keeps the son of Lakers star LeBron James with the team through the 2027-28 season. season.
James' son held a press conference to announce his joining the Lakers on Tuesday.
“There's definitely more pressure,” James said of the attention. “I've already seen things on social media and the internet and stuff like that maybe I don't deserve a chance. He appeared in 25 games for the Trojans as a nine-star player, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
