Thumbage Co has released a new update for Boxing Star that brings a ton of new features to the Android and iOS fighting game, chief among them being an all-new sparring system that arrives alongside increased gym equipment limits and other events.
If you're tired of feeling like your favorite characters aren't strong enough in Boxing Stars, the new sparring system should help solve this issue, as you can use it to give your boxer temporary buffs that boost both their offensive and defensive stats.
These boosts are only available for a set period of time. If you already have an active buff, if you enter sparring again, that bonus will be replaced with a new one. This is a really great feature to make your character a little stronger. Use it to get through some of the tougher fights.
Meanwhile, a new special event has been launched that significantly reduces repair costs. For the next few days, you can fix all your broken gym equipment for just 1 gold. You have until the 11th to make the most of this sale. Plus, you'll have the chance to earn some in-game rewards when you show off your customized gym outfits to the rest of the community.
