On Friday at Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, DAZN promoter Brandon Rhodes (OTX – Overtime Boxing) headlined the main event, where welterweight Kurt Scobee was stopped by Dakota “Lone Wolf” Ringer in six rounds. I was upset.
In the co-main event, returning for the first time in three years, former WBC Continental Super Welterweight Champion Brandon “Cannon” Adams knocked out Ismael Villarreal in three rounds as part of the OTX Tournament.
In the co-main event, former WBC Continental Americas Super Welterweight Champion Brandon “Cannon” Adams of Whittier, Calif., 24-3 (16), 153 1/2, defeated Ismael “Maelo” Adams. They knocked out Villarreal 13-3(9). #154 of Bronx, NY at 2:59 of the third of the scheduled 10 rounds.
In the first two rounds, Adams had the upper hand against Villarreal, who had switched from orthodox to southpaw. In the final seconds of the third round, Adams landed a hard left hook to Villarreal's ribs, dropping him. He twice tried to get up and fall to the canvas, but was eventually waved off by referee Nate Mann.
In the main event, welterweight Kurt Scobee (13-1(11),#,) of Duarte, Calif., defeated Dakota “Lone Wolf” Ringer (14-6-3(10),#144) of Buckhannon. 1/2) was stopped and I was upset. West Virginia, 2:21 of Round 6 of an 8-round schedule.
After losing the first round by a narrow margin, Ringer made a comeback and outclassed Scobie in the second and third rounds. In the final moments of the fourth round, Ringer forced Scobie to his feet at the bell.
In the final seconds of the sixth round, Ringer left Scobie defenseless and referee Malik Walid waved it away.
Super welterweight southpaw Angel “Lillampago” Ruiz, resident of Culiacan, Mexico, 18-3-1 (13), 154th place, is 2020 Olympian and WBA Continental Americas middleweight champion Francisco Lost by decision to “Bev” Veron, 14-0-1 (10), #154, Buenos Aires, ARG, over 10 rounds.
A minute later in the first round, Veron landed five unanswered punches. Veron was the aggressor and Lewis was the counterpuncher.
In the final seconds of the second round, Lewis pulled Veron into a hug. In the third round, Veron was hit by a right hook from the southpaw Lewis, which caused severe swelling around his eyes, but he still managed to get Lewis out.
In the fifth round, Veron outclassed Lewis in an action-packed round. With a minute left in the sixth round, Lewis rocked Veron with a left to the jaw. With one minute left in the seventh round, Veron landed a right punch that knocked Ruiz's head in the jaw. Lewis came back well, but he wasn't good enough to advance to the next round.
In the eighth and ninth rounds, Veron continued to score counter-puncher Lewis. In the 10th and final round, Veron had an advantage in both cases. Veron had significant swelling under his eyes and Luis had significant swelling under his right eye.

Two-time U.S. Amateur champion and super lightweight southpaw David “Dynamite” Lopez of Oakland, Calif., 5-0 (3), No. 140, defeated Anthony “Toro Rojo” Mora, 3-2. -1(2), KO'd at 141st place. 1/4 in New Britain, Conn., 2:38 of the first of six scheduled rounds.
With 30 minutes left in the first round, the southpaw Lopez hit Mora with a straight left to the jaw, sending Mora over the ropes and onto the ring apron, causing referee Nate Mann to count him out.
23-time U.S. Amateur Champion and 19-year-old super middleweight Nathan “Brickbuster” Lugo of Marietta, Georgia, 1-0(1), #168 1/2, defeated Robert “Lights Out” Lartigue by 1- KOed with 2(1). ), #166 ¾, San Diego, California, 1:33 of the first of four scheduled rounds.
Twenty seconds into the first round, Lugo dropped Lartigue with a right hand to the jaw, earning an eight count from referee Malik Walid. Midway through the round Lugo gets a right hand and a chop to the side of the head and goes down again for referee Walid's count.
