Can professional boxers compete in the Olympics?
There used to be a rule that only amateur boxers could compete in the Olympics, making it a strong path for those aspiring to go professional.
However, before the 2016 Rio Olympics, rule changes were passed to allow professional boxers to compete, who must compete in one of the official Olympic qualifying tournaments before the Games begin.
Britain's Anthony Joshua was the first amateur to compete in the Olympics, winning gold at the 2012 London Games. He turned professional a year later.
Who has won the most Olympic medals in boxing?
Team USA athletes have won the most Olympic medals with 117, while Great Britain has won 62.
