Australian boomers Duop Reese (eight points) and Matisse Thybulle (five points) could not prevent the Portland Trail Blazers from losing 121-99 to the NBA-leading Boston Celtics.
Jaylen Brown had 27 points, six rebounds and five assists, making the Celtics the first NBA team to reach the 50-win mark this season.
Jayson Tatum had 26 points and eight assists and Sam Hauser scored a season-best 22 points off the bench for Boston, which won for the 13th time in 15 games.

Phoenix's “Big Three” of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal combined for 88 points as the visiting Suns defeated the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers 117-111.
Led by Durant's 37 points, the Suns overcame a slow start that saw them trail by as many as 19 points in the second quarter.
Beal scored 24 points on 10-of-19 shooting from the floor, part of the Suns' 54.8 percent overall performance.
Booker, who returned from missing four games with a sprained right ankle, scored 27 points.
Behind Durant, who grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists for a game-high point total, the Suns chipped away and took a lead they would never relinquish just before midway through the third quarter.
