Boise State is leaning into the Heisman hype surrounding Ashton Giunty in Saturday's giveaway. The Broncos will take to the field for their 2024 debut at 1:30 p.m.
BOISE, ID — The 2024 Boise State football team will make its debut in the sun Saturday at Albertsons Stadium in front of Bronco Nation in its annual spring game.
After 14 practice sessions and two sets of scrimmages, head coach Spencer Danielson and his team's spring season comes to an end on Saturday. The event will feature autograph signings, giveaways and a premiere of Optimist Youth Football's new girls' flag football program.
Boise State will warm up and practice individually at 1:30 p.m. before facing the Blues, before the scrimmage kicks off at 2:30 p.m. Danielson said he plans to do live tackling in the second half. Told. In the first half, there will be no tackling on the grass, and the game will proceed at a wrap-up tempo.
General admission is free and fans can use Entry 2 and Entry 3 located in the southeast and southwest corners of Albertsons Stadium from 12:30 p.m. The parking lot and Bronco Shop will open at 11 a.m. Saturday, and the Lincoln Parking Garage will also be available.
The Broncos are promoting 2023 Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year Ashton Giunty with a giveaway on Saturday. His first 750 fans through the gate will receive a free “HEI2MAN” T-shirt featuring the star running back.
Boise State also plans to distribute more than 4,000 Giunty and 2024 schedule posters. After the scrimmage, fans are invited to join her on the field for a 20-minute autograph session. In addition to the spring game poster, you may sign one personal item.
