March Madness never disappoints.
Even if perhaps your favorite men's and women's college teams are eliminated, all NBA teams are still playing, competing for playoff spots, postseason berths, or draft order.
However, the association also had problems. Complaints about officiating have escalated, investigations into gambling have been launched, and teams are averaging about four fewer points per game than they were before mid-February. Will things change once the playoffs begin in April? we will see.
In the meantime, check out this month's photo gallery for a glimpse at some of the NBA action in March. Additional photos included courtesy of Anthony Edwards and Jalen Johnson.
Thank you for visiting us. enjoy!
The scrum for the ball included Buddy Hield and Paul Reed of the 76ers, and Precious Achiuwa of the New York Knicks (I think).
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic throws away Celtics' Kristaps Porzisis on a drive to the basket in Denver. Despite Boston having the best record in the NBA, the Nuggets won both games against the Celtics this season.
Lakers' D'Angelo Russell (left), Spencer Dinwiddie and Jackson Hayes celebrate a thrilling 123-122 victory over the Bucks in Los Angeles. Dinwiddie blocked Damian Lillard's shot with three seconds left, sealing the Lakers' victory.
The Rockets' Jaylen Green attacks as the Trail Blazers' Anfernee Simmons tries to defend in Portland, Oregon.
The Warriors' Stephen Curry and the Raptors' Jakob Poeltl and Gary Trent Jr. fell onto the court while chasing loose balls in Toronto.
exclaimed Zion Williamson of the Pelicans, who scored and was fouled during a game against the Clippers in New Orleans.
It was that kind of season for the Hawks and Hornets. Hawks' Bruno Fernando hits the deck after being fouled by Hornets' Grant Williams in Atlanta.
The Spurs have surrounded and trapped the Suns' Devin Booker, but the four-time All-Star is still sneaking passes to his teammates in San Antonio.
Is this the dunk of the season? Anthony Edwards of the Timberwolves slams over John Collins of the Jazz in Salt Lake City. It's so amazing that I'll also post some photos taken from different angles.
Unfortunately for the Hawks' Jalen Johnson, his spectacular dunk over the Lakers' Austin Reeves in Los Angeles happened on the same night as Edwards' incredible play. And it's worth taking another shot from a different angle.
The Mavericks' Kyrie Irving hits a 20-foot left-handed running shot past the Nuggets' Nikola Jokic. The shot went through the net at the buzzer, giving the Mavs a 107-105 victory in Dallas.
Kelly Oubre Jr. of the 76ers looks amused during a minor scuffle with Donte DiVincenzo of the Knicks in New York.
Get that shot out of here! Rudy Gobert of the Timberwolves rejects an attempt by Jabari Walker of the Trail Blazers in Minneapolis.
Bucks' Damian Lillard tries to get back at Warriors' Moses Moody in San Francisco after having the ball stolen.
Thunder MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander thinks he'll have a chance in Phoenix with Suns forward Royce O'Neal guarding him.
The Mavericks' Daniel Gafford is good at dunking and blocking shots, as the Nuggets' Jamal Murray discovered on the drive in Dallas.
LeBron James, the NBA's all-time leading scorer, knows how to finish. James flashed this dunk, but he was punched in the face by the Kings' Alex Len in Los Angeles.
The Hawks' DeAndre Hunter faces off against the Clippers' Daniel Theis at the top of Theis' shot attempt in Los Angeles.
Does Jaylen Brown of the Celtics use his left hand? It's against James Wiseman of the Pistons in Boston.
The Timberwolves' Naz Reid looks like the ultimate Superman as he chases down loose balls with the Clippers' Ivica Zubac in Los Angeles.
D'Angelo Russell made a 3-point shot against the Thunder in Los Angeles, and Lakers fans went wild.
There's a lot to unpack here. The Mavericks' Luka Doncic appears to be falling, but the 76ers' Buddy Hield and referee Justin Van Duyne are already past that point in Dallas.
parting shot
Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen and Hawks' DeAndre Hunter (and their shadows) will battle for comeback in Atlanta.
