The application process is now open for those interested in pursuing a career in the skill trades through a reputable local program.
BASF Corporation announced the TECH Academy program, a week-long summer series of classes designed exclusively for high school seniors and seniors in southeastern Michigan who are interested in pursuing a career in the skill trades.
The program will run from June 17th to 21st.
For the Downriver community, this program provides an opportunity for students to gain first-hand knowledge of various skill trade careers and the training required for these fields.
These sectors include manufacturing, welding, automotive, healthcare, and first responders.

This program is designed to equip students with valuable knowledge while fostering an interest in pursuing a career in the skilled trades field.
Interested students are encouraged to obtain an application and submit it by the April 12 deadline.
