Naples: Sean Simeon, who has offers from Florida State, Iowa State, Illinois and others, is poised to dominate again in his senior season after rushing for 2,040 yards and 27 touchdowns on 188 touches last season. The quarterback situation is reminiscent of the Stanley Blount III era in Naples in 2021. After Carter Quinn left for Lely, head coach Rick Martin needed to find someone on the roster who could play under center, and he acquired youngster Alysia Molina. Molina, who played as a defensive back on JV last year, led the offense through two weeks and has the athleticism to be a solid compliment next to Simeon as the season progresses. This offseason will be key to whether he can acclimate and become comfortable with Martin's offense. On the other side of the ball, Naples' rising defensive line of Sean Kabengele, Hari Bendorf and Brady Clark combined for 161 tackles and 22 sacks. This trio is expected to cause problems for opposing offenses. With the departure of Kensley Faustin to Auburn, the Golden Eagle secondary will turn its attention to rising senior Jordan Bergeron and rising junior Andre Ferdinand. Last year, Bergeron had two interceptions and completed seven passes, while Ferdinand had two interceptions and deflected five passes.

He has another year of experience playing in the Cougar offense and will be a problem for opposing defenses. Returning most of the attacks around him isn't bad either. Brody Graham (48 catches for 803 receiving yards and 11 TDs) got healthy in the offseason, and Kayden Hudson (482 catches for 482 receiving yards and 5 TDs) will line up on the other side. Dew. The offensive line is also made up entirely of returners, led by up-and-coming senior center Preston Coro, and Barron Collier's offense is expected to be as dangerous as ever. With the graduation of Jackson Polley, the young position group on the offensive line will be running back, but head coach Mark Jackson has said it will be run by committee this year. Defensively, rising senior linebacker Reese Van Gemert, who had a team-high 4.0 sacks last season, returns, and rising junior Carson Ruble is expected to make a solid contribution alongside him. After gaining more weight this spring, he's poised to surpass 1,000 rushing yards in his senior season. There is. Jeremiah Singleton, a 6-foot-3, 300-pound rising sophomore, also has the coaching staff excited in his first year playing varsity football.
Palmetto Ridge: With last year's starting quarterback, Demetri Zeltopoulis, graduating, the Bears will be entrusting Anthony Sinatra with the keys to the 2024-25 season. Sinatra is an up-and-coming sophomore who joins from St. John Newman. Palmetto Ridge doesn't have many fourth-year players, but it does have experienced players returning, which should ease Sinatra's transition as a first-year quarterback. Devon Messenger, a rising junior who was the center of last year's offense, also returns. Messenger led the team in receptions (38), receiving yards (434) and touchdown catches (5). Also back is rising fourth-year running back Steven Rousseau, who spent significant time at linebacker, rushing for 315 yards and two touchdowns.
