The names on the ballot for the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class were released Monday and included former Arizona State Sun Devils kicker Luis Zendejas and head coach Daryl Rodgers, along with former Northern Arizona running back Archie Amerson.
Zendejas spent four years at Arizona State University from 1981-84, finishing his collegiate career as the NCAA's all-time leading scorer with 380 points. His best season came in 1983, when he led the league in scoring and was named a unanimous First Team All-American.
A four-time All-Pac-10 selection, Zendejas owns the highest PAT percentage in Arizona State history (.993) and was the team's scoring leader in each of his first three seasons.
Rogers was the head coach at Arizona State from 1980-84, compiling a record of 37 wins, 18 losses and one tie during that time. He led the Sun Devils to four consecutive winning seasons and led the team to the Fiesta Bowl in 1983, where they defeated Oklahoma, 32-21.
Prior to taking the Arizona State coaching position, Rogers also coached at Michigan State, San Jose State, Fresno State and California State University, East Bay.
