Mexican star Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez will get a chance to become a two-division world champion when he takes on current WBA cruiserweight titleholder Arsen Gramirian on March 30th at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. .
The 12-round bout and the undercard bout will be broadcast on DAZN.

Gramilian (27-0, 19 KOs) won the WBA “regular” title in 2018 and was promoted to full champion the following year when then-undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk moved up to heavyweight. The Armenian-born Frenchman has successfully defended his title four times, winning a 12-round unanimous decision over Alexei Egorov.
Ramirez (45-1, 30 KOs) is a former WBO super middleweight champion. After going 4-0 at light heavyweight, Zurdo missed out on the gold medal at 175 pounds when he was edged by WBA titleholder Dmitry Bivol. Choosing to move north again soon, the southpaw pressure fighter is currently targeting the best at 200 pounds.
