WAR — Thanks to an 8-2 win over the Hibbing/Chisholm Blue Jackets on March 3, the Northern Lakes Lighting Bantam A team takes second place in the Northern Regional Tournament, which will be held March 15-17 in Virginia. We advanced to the state tournament.
Northern Lakes opened the tournament with a 7-3 loss to Rock Ridge, but the Lightning survived because the tournament was double-elimination.

This resulted in Northern Lakes facing Roseau on the final day of the tournament. The Lightning started the day with an 8-5 win, setting up a true second matchup against Hibbing/Chisholm.
