Antonio “Toño” Moran (30-6-1, 20 KOs), of Miami, Florida and Mexico City, signed an exclusive multi-year promotional contract with Tuto Zavala Jr.'s All Star Boxing earlier today. The deal comes as no surprise as the two have worked hand in hand for the past eight years. Moran was previously a Boxeo Telemundo favorite in Zavala's long-running series.
“Tono has become part of the All Star Boxing family after many years working together,” said Tuto Zavala Jr. “I'm excited to continue this relationship with such an incredible kid who has proven himself as a challenger over the years,” Zavala Jr. concluded.
Moran has recently enjoyed a perfect 4-0 record on the ProboxTV platform. In January of this year, he defeated the Philippines’ Romero Duno (26-3) by sixth-round knockout, and in 2022 he added three wins in the Probox TV Last Chance Tournament against Jeffrey Torres, Michael Dutchover and finally knocked out Kendo Castaneda in the 10th round to win a total prize of $50,000.
“All Star Boxing has always given me the best fights,” said challenger Antonio Moran. “I'll be back on August 3rd to face the best opponent, that's what I want,” Moran concluded.
Moran is referring to a tough 10-round lightweight bout against Cuban gold medalist Andy Cruz (3-0, 1 KO) for the IBF International title as part of the undercard to the Crawford vs. Madrimov fight at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
