The mixed martial arts superstar has been injured and will miss his highly anticipated return fight against Michael Chandler in Las Vegas on June 29. The news comes after days of rumors and speculation about McGregor's return from a nearly three-year hiatus from the Octagon, leading to a major overhaul of the event.
UFC CEO Dana White acknowledged there is uncertainty over McGregor's future fights, but Chandler is enthusiastic that the highly anticipated showdown with “The Notorious” will finally happen.
