It's been a little over a month since the Super Bowl, and[the indie rock band]is ready for a victory lap. This year marks a quarter-century since the group released their self-titled debut, which became an emo touchstone. So the group is embarking on a trip they're billing as a “Special LP 1st Anniversary Show,” but they haven't specifically said whether they'll perform the album in its entirety.
A short run will begin this fall in Chicago, followed by performances in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and New York City. Tickets for the show go on sale this week, with various pre-sales opening on separate dates. General sales begin Friday. Details can be found on the band's website.
