Fairbanks – The Alaska Nanooks Hockey Program will be hosting a girls' hockey camp from August 21-23 at Patti Ice Arena. The camp is open to all female participants age 18 and older. During the three-day camp, participants will get on the ice working with current and former Nanooks hockey coaches and players. Registration for the camp must be made by 9:59 PM Alaska Standard Time on Tuesday, August 20. The registration link can be found here.
Camp participants will learn skills and fundamentals through training techniques used by Division I and NHL athletes. For more information about the camp, please see below.

- You will develop skills and fundamentals under the guidance of current and former Alaska Nanook athletes and coaches.
- Areas for improvement: Skating, puck handling, passing, confidence
- They will be using the latest Edgeboss equipment designed to improve puck control, the same technique being used by NHL teams and the Alaska Nanooks in preparation for the upcoming season.
What to bring:
- Full set of hockey equipment (stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, pants, shin guards, skates, gloves, mouth guard, socks, undergear apparel)
- Water bottle
- Positive attitude!
