For the Glory KC is back with episode 82 of the show!
Sporting Kansas City is officially 10 games into the 2024 season, a benchmark that coach Peter Vermes will want to keep an eye on. The team is in 10th place with a record of 2-3-5 (11 points). It's better than last season, but the bar to clear is incredibly low.
KC Soccer Journal asked Peter Vermes what he thought about the current state of the team, and his answer was unsatisfying. My colleague Jimmy Mack tweeted that quote.

Sheena and I talked about quotes, his play in the 2-1 loss to Minnesota United, and the rumor that Taylor Twellman is set to sign in the summer and where we'd like to see him sign. Are considering. Oh, and we also have to talk about this meme-worthy image and his later work modeling offside, which confirmed it was onside.
Don't let anyone show this tweet to Peter Vermes! #SportingKC
