The American Athletic Conference had another successful NFL Draft weekend this year. While the league may not have had selections in the first two rounds, in the AAC many of last season's best players were selected from No. 100 until the final day.
These are the names of five players from the 2024 AAC selected during the celebration in Detroit.

Luke McCaffrey (Rice WR) – Washington Commanders, 100th overall
The younger brother of quarterback turned Christian McCaffrey played the wide receiver position very well. Rice had 126 receptions for nearly 1,700 yards and 18 touchdowns in two seasons. He will now likely catch passes from 2023 Heisman winner Jaden Daniels in Washington.
Jordan McGee (Temple LB) – Washington Commanders, Overall #139
Over four seasons in Philadelphia, McGee totaled 235 tackles, including 31 for a loss and eight sacks. He recorded over 80 tackles in each of the past two seasons. McGee was by far Temple's biggest defensive piece last season, but their loss is the NFL's gain.
JaQuan Jackson (Tulane WR) – Tennessee Titans, Overall #182
In five seasons with the Green Wave, Jackson had 109 receptions for 1,743 yards and 17 touchdowns. Jackson was a key piece during his two years at Tulane, which included an AAC championship, wins over Caleb Williams and USC in the Cotton Bowl, and a 23-5 record.
Tejuan Palmer (UAB WR) – Arizona Cardinals, overall #191
Palmer had 47 receptions for 858 yards and seven touchdowns for the Blazers in 2023. He will be the first UAB wide receiver to be drafted since longtime Atlanta Falcon Roddy White in 2005. During his time with the Blazers, Palmer was 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighed 210 pounds.
Michael Pratt (Tulane QB) – Green Bay Packers, 245th overall
During his four years with the Green Wave, Pratt threw for 9,611 yards, 90 touchdowns, and 26 interceptions. Granted, the seventh round was a lot farther than most expected Pratt to fall, but it was a good position to back up Jordan Love and allow him to learn from Packers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements. .
