Georgia recently landed its first commitment at quarterback for its 2026 recruiting class Jared Curtis contributes to the Bulldogs This past Saturday. Curtis is only a high school senior, but he has already signed his first NIL contract since his induction.

Curtis isn't the only high-profile high school recruit to sign with the company, with 2025 quarterback Julian Lewis also reaching a deal on his own card.
Curtis plays high school football in Tennessee, which gives him a head start in the NIL. The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association recently joined this trend among other high school associations in December 2023. This rule allows a prospective high school student to sign her NIL contract before enrolling in college.
Curtis is rated as the No. 1 quarterback and player in Tennessee and the ninth-best player in the nation, according to 247sports' overall rankings.
The quarterback's commitment was announced in the midst of some negative news for the Bulldogs, who are recruiting a 2025 defensive lineman. Justus Terry expelled from Georgia I will be attending USC this past weekend as well. Isaiah Gibson, another 2025 target for the Bulldogs, Also involved in Trojan horses this weekend.
