MIAMI – On Monday, Florida International held its 2024 Pro Day. Former Panthers Donovan Manuel, Jack Daley, Alex Nobles, Lucas Mathias, Jalen Bracey and Deverick Daniel all received training from scouts from multiple NFL teams.
“I’m really happy to be out here,” said Daly, a defensive tackle. “It was a lot of fun. I got to work out with my guys one last time, and I really enjoyed the process.”

Similar to the workouts seen at the NFL Combine, these former Panthers performed physicals, bench presses, vertical jumps, board jumps, 40-yard dashes, cone drills, and drills for each position.
For most athletes, what they did in the weight room worked.
“I think the bench was the best thing today,” Daly said. “I scored 25 points, which was definitely a good number for me. I think it was a good day overall.”
For many of these players, the preparation for Pro Day itself was a stark reminder of what it takes to advance to the next level.
“It's been a long four months of hard work,” Daly said. “In the early mornings and late nights, I'm just trying to focus on getting my times down, getting my bench better, things like that.”
In particular, Daly plans to train on the New England Patriots' local day and also on the Miami Dolphins' local day. Expect to see some of the FIU players who worked out at Pro Day at these regional prospect events throughout the spring.
