2024 Japan Olympic Trials
On the final day of Japan's Olympic selection, three new names were added to the roster for the 2024 Paris Games.

She chose the right time to break her lifetime best and finished in under 2 hours 10 minutes, bettering her previous best of 2 minutes 10.07 seconds set earlier this year.
Two athletes also placed in the men's 100m fly. Katsuhiro Matsumoto.
Matsumoto, 27, had already qualified for Paris in the 200m free, but added a second event with a time of 50.96 seconds.with him Satomi Suzuki He is the only athlete to qualify for multiple events.
Naoki Mizunumais the Japanese record holder for the 100m fly, finishing second to Matsumoto in 51.23 seconds and qualifying for the Olympics.
