TWIN FALLS, ID (KMVT/KSVT) — The grand opening of the new Twin Falls martial arts facility, located on Second Avenue South just one block from Second South Market, was held on Saturday, March 23rd.
The local store was originally housed in a small building on Main Avenue North. However, after COVID-19, we relocated for more space and expanded class offerings.
A total of 102 students are currently enrolled in the martial arts program, and the company hopes to admit more students into martial arts classes. This program is offered for ages ranging from children ages 3 and her 4 years old to adults.
This class teaches dynamic martial arts skills as well as core life skills and character development.
“We didn't expect it to turn out like this either. We had so many people come out and do board breaks and do all kinds of weapon training,” Twin Falls said. Martial Arts owner Scott Talerico said. “Taking in these new students and taking in more students means bringing in more instructors. Instead, you can work more on stranger danger, defense from bullies, and of course one of my favorites: weapons training.”
Twin Falls Martial Arts is offering passes to three free classes to those who experience the program prior to registering. For more information on how and when to register, call 208-423-8081 or visit: Martial Arts Builds Confidence (twinfallsmartialarts.com)
