Months after that loss, Andrade says he wants to get back into action as soon as possible, but he knows he can't make any rash moves given his status as ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion.
“Even though ONE Championship has been very patient with me and didn't put any pressure on me. But I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself to get back there and defend my world title. .” he said in an interview.

“For me, if given a choice, I would like to fight tomorrow if possible. But I have to understand that I need to be healthy, I need to be strong. I'm in a position where I can't afford to make mistakes anymore. Because there is.”
Andrade won six of his first seven matches at ONE Championship, five of which came before the finish. His only blemish before meeting Haggerty was a no contest in his first meeting with former bantamweight MMA champion John Lineker.

Andrade talks about possibility of return
Fabricio Andrade's string of accomplishments has made him a star to watch in ONE, and fans are eagerly awaiting his return. The bantamweight MMA champion knows this and has provided a target date for his next fight.
“At this rate, I'm finally starting to see some light. Things are going well. I am gradually returning to training and, if everything goes well, I hope to be able to compete in late May or early June. it's perfect for me. And I hope we can make that happen.” Andrade said.
