The U.S. national team will face Mexico at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, just outside New York, home of Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls and National Women's Soccer League champion Gotham FC.
The game will be the third match for new U.S. women's coach Emma Stone, who currently leads Chelsea, and the penultimate match before the U.S. women's players depart for the Paris Olympics.
Mexico and the United States are joint bidders for the 2027 Women's World Cup, and FIFA will decide on the tournament in May, so this could be the first meeting between the host nations of the next Women's World Cup.
The U.S. national team suffered its second loss to Mexico, 0-2, in group play of the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup, but the U.S. team subsequently won the championship.
U.S. Soccer will reunite to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the championship on home soil and pay tribute to the 1999 Women's World Cup team with this game.
