In another exclusive column on talkSPORT.com, Ben Shalom gives his thoughts on Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson and previews the big night in Wales.
The fight between Paul and Tyson was announced in early March and everyone was excited about it.
This is an exhibition match, after all, and purists shouldn't take it seriously.
However, there are worrying reports floating around that it may be sanctioned as a professional match.
If that happens, you'll cross a line, but until then you'll have to take it with a pinch of salt.
I understand everyone's frustration with this fight, and I've seen the reaction online.
But it's not all doom and gloom for boxing fans.
There are many big battles ahead.
Hardcore boxing fans will rejoice
In particular, the match between Lauren Price and Jessica McCaskill is creating a lot of buzz in Wales.
For Price to take on an experienced multi-division world champion in his seventh professional fight is everything to celebrate when it comes to boxing.
In theory, this is a very risky fight for her. She could have waited until the end of her career for this kind of challenge, but she wants it now.
As hardcore boxing fans know, MacAskill has fought all the big names at his weight.
She comes into this match having faced off against Chantelle Cameron and Katie Taylor, having defeated Cecilia Braekas twice and fresh off a draw with British hopeful Sandy Ryan.
On May 11th at Cardiff's Utilita Arena, MacAskill will take on Britain's most decorated female amateur boxer in history for the WBA welterweight title.
Price has won Olympic, world, European and Commonwealth gold medals in the unpaid weight class and seems destined to become an undisputed champion in the future.
But if she wants to carve her name into boxing history, she'll have to perform on a night like this.
Blockbuster returns to Wales
I'm really happy to finally be back in Wales. A number of big nights have been held there in the past, and Price is expecting a large turnout.
We experienced just how loud Wales fans can be when we hosted Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Williams in 2022.
We've been dying to come back ever since, and now we're finally able to host another blockbuster event for them.
The undercard card has yet to be announced but I can guarantee you it will be loaded with Welsh talent.
Participants won't go home disappointed.
