The women's draw for the 2024 Olympics was held on Wednesday, with four-time champions USA, Germany and Australia in the same group, with host France set to face host Canada.
Groups B and C look particularly tough, but France and Canada can hope to secure a spot in Group A.
The U.S. will face Germany, Australia and the winner of one of the two African playoff games in Group B.
Group C will consist of World Cup and Nations League winners Spain, Brazil and Japan, as well as the other CAF play-off winners.
France is aiming to become the second country to host the tournament, after the United States in 1996.
