statesboro – Georgia Southern Women's Soccer Director chris adams announced the addition of three freshmen to the Eagles in the fall of 2024.
The three new signatories are: Claire Casey (5-5, D, Williamston, Michigan). Peyton Free, D/M, Madison, Ala.) and Libby Ufindin (5-7, D, Featherstone, England). These three join his four signees signed during the early signing period in November.
“I'm very excited about the class of 2024,” Coach Adams said. “We signed four very talented players during the early signing period and added three more players to strengthen the group: Libby Ufindin and Claire Casey at centre-back; Peyton Free is an outside back, so we feel confident that we have filled that need to replace last year's back line. ”

Played for the 05/06 GA club Michigan Jaguars, who were national runners-up in 2019…Selected to the 2023 Soccer Wire GA Player to Watch and the 2019 Midwest Conference Best Eleven…Represented in high school An honorable mention winner who played basketball and was selected for the All-American team.
Coach Adams: “Claire is a very athletic centre-back who is very good in the air. She should be a threat on set pieces with her aerial ability, which has always been one of Eagle Soccer's strengths.”

5-5 Midfielder/Defender
Madison, Alabama.
Bob Jones HS / Alabama FC
Earned All-Metro and All-State honors at Bob Jones HS… Was named Defender of the Year and had the Patriots' most assists in a season with two… Played for Alabama FC.
Adams said: “Peyton is a very skilled outside back who has an attacking mindset and is looking to come forward and supply dangerous crosses into the box.”
Libby Woofindin
5-7 Defender
Featherstone, UK
Loughborough / Leicester City FC
I played for England University's U21 Leicester City Club and was team captain…I plan to major in Exercise Science at Georgia Southern University.
Coach Adams: “Libby is a very smooth and calm center back who is very good on the ball. She has a very high soccer IQ and will fit well into our program.”
