“I am very excited and grateful to be signing with this club,” Morrow said in a news release. “Being in the same environment as these players, coaches and staff is a dream come true for me. I know I will learn and grow here and I can't wait to leave my legacy at Bay FC! ”
Morrow, a Youngsville native, played local club soccer, now known as Cajun Rush Soccer. LA Crew Rush. LA Crew Rush Director of Soccer Michael Rich also said he is excited about Morrow's acquisition.
“She is a great athlete who has worked tirelessly to achieve this goal,” Rich said. “LA Crew Rush (formerly Cajun) has excelled both on and off the field, and I couldn’t ask for a better role model for all of our current players.”
Morrow is a four-time All-State honoree, three-time district MVP in high school, and the Louisiana Gatorade Girls Player of the Year in 2018-19. She was also an all-state track star as a member of the St. Thomas More state champion 4×400 meter relay team.
She played as a midfielder and defender in college and will likely play on the back line at Bay FC.
