A soccer specialty retailer has acquired another soccer specialty store. Soccer Post Holdings, LLC, the largest soccer specialty retailer in the United States, has acquired Soccer Pro Inc.
With the acquisition of Soccer Pro, Soccer Post will now have 47 specialty stores across the United States.
Soccer Pro Inc. (not to be confused with SoccerPro.com) was founded in 1988. Soccer Pro Inc. operates retail stores throughout Northern California, and SoccerPro.com was founded in 2004.

Soccer Post has been selling gear for over 30 years. “We have established ourselves as the go-to destination for soccer families and one of the nation's leading omnichannel specialty retailers across e-commerce, brick-and-mortar and corporate channels,” the company said in a statement.
In 2022, private equity firm TZP Group invested in Soccer Post. Revenues for the 81 sporting goods retailers in the top 1,000 companies remained roughly unchanged in 2022 at $22.46 billion. This is an increase of 0.04% ($100 million) over 2021. Top 1000 is Digital Commerce 360's database that ranks the largest online retailers in North America.
