In Major League Soccer, Luis Suarez scored twice in 13 minutes as Inter Miami beat DC United 3-1 despite the absence of Lionel Messi. The Argentine superstar held on in Miami's 3-2 loss to Montreal and came on as a substitute early in the second half of Miami's 3-1 win over Nashville in the second leg of the Concacaf Champions Cup. Messi is reportedly resting his right foot due to an injury. Suarez did not start, but came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute. He scored the winning goal after just 10 minutes, firing his left-footed shot into the bottom left corner from close range. This goal was assisted by Leonardo Campana from a fast break.
