The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris is officially in its second week, with several big events scheduled for Monday, including gymnastics, tennis, basketball, skateboarding and shooting.

Here are the eight biggest events happening on Monday and how to watch them.
Summer Olympics Schedule: Gymnastics
China is the favorite to win its fourth Olympic team title after earning a total of 263.028 points in the qualifying rounds. Japan, the seven-time Olympic champions, came in second with 260.594 points. Japan's Taiki Hashimoto will defend his individual all-around title.

Summer Olympics Schedule: basketball
The U.S. women's basketball team will begin its quest for a record eighth consecutive championship. The U.S. team will face Japan at Pierre Mauroy Stadium at 9 p.m. CEST (3 p.m. EST). The U.S. women's team has won 55 consecutive Olympic games and has not lost since the 1992 Barcelona Games. Japan lost to the U.S. 90-75 in Tokyo to win the silver medal.
The U.S. team will be led by two-time WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart, and five-time Olympic gold medalist Diana Taurasi will be playing in her sixth Olympic Games.
The broadcast will begin at 1:45pm Central Standard Time.

The broadcast begins at 10:45 a.m. CST on E!
Summer Olympics Schedule: swimming
The women's 400m individual medley final will begin at 8:30pm CEST (2:30pm EST) at the Paris La Défense Arena. Canada's Summer McIntosh is the favorite to win after breaking her own world record (4:24.38) at the Canadian Olympic Trials in May.
McIntosh will also compete in the final swimming final of the night, the women's 200-meter freestyle. She beat American Katie Ledecky to win silver in the 400-meter freestyle on Saturday night, giving her country its first medal at the Paris Olympics.

Summer Olympics Schedule: tennis
The highlight of the French Open will be the second match of the day on Court Philippe Chatrier between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, marking the 60th meeting between the long-time rivals, the most they have played since the Open era began in 1968.
The 37-year-old Serbian has won 24 Grand Slam titles, making him the only player in tennis history to win more than Nadal's 22.
Cheered on by a roaring crowd, Nadal beat Hungary's Marton Fucsovics 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 in the first round on Sunday. A day after his doubles win, Nadal said he wasn't sure whether he would play both tournaments, making a last-minute decision to stay in singles.
